Here you will find tales of our 2006 winter New Zealand adventure. It's Brooke's first time to the southern hemisphere and Mikes first time to the other side of the globe. Together we will do our darndest to revel in the beauty of New Zealand's great outdoors, and to taste the finest microbrews that we can track down! Forward and downward to New Zealand! Also keep an eye out for our 2007 winter road trip, with the newest member of our family; Paddy the big yellow dog.
The views along the ridge line which the trail followed most of the way were stunning. It looks a lot like the San Juan Islands to me until you get down in to the forests filled with giant fern trees.
